Many projects created by members of the maker community aim to allow us to relive all those adventures and hours of gameplay we've spent on so many devices for very little money. This time, I want to introduce you to a project that has created a scaled-down version of the legendary Game Boy Micro.
As you can see in the image at the top of this post, we're talking about a device you can even wear as a keychain to enjoy anytime, anywhere. Below, you'll find a video by the project's creator, Sprite_TM , which explains how the device works and the manufacturing process in over 45 minutes.

One particularly striking detail is the use of a small OLED screen measuring just 96 x 64 pixels , which, according to the project's creator, cost him only $3,80. This miniature work of art is powered by an ESP32 dual-core processor running at 240 MHz and 512 KB of RAM. Additionally, the device features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
Regarding the software, as you can see, one of the biggest problems is the limited hardware of the device, so Sprite_TM had to modify a version of GNUboy . On the other hand, they've been working on a wireless way to load ROMs, which bypasses the device's storage limitation, where, unfortunately, only four games can be loaded at once.
