This opened a great door and the creation of numerous projects, projects like these tactile gloves.
A user named B. Aswinth Raj has turned disposable gloves into touch-sensitive gloves , all thanks to the power of Arduino and specifically his Arduino Nano board.
These touch gloves only need Arduino Nano and disposable gloves
The construction of these gloves is not very expensive since, along with disposable gloves, touch sensors were used—specifically, four sensors per hand. Magnets are used in the thumbs, and everything is connected to an Arduino Nano board . As you can see, the cost of this project is not very high.
The most challenging aspect of all this is the software used by these tactile gloves . This software is available to us thanks to B. Aswinth Raj's full publication of the project . This allows us to recreate this project anywhere and even customize it if we have the necessary skills.
For now, the project manages to create straight lines and allows the user to paint or draw with their fingers without needing to touch the screen , something that, while not very functional, is a solid step towards the construction of touch gloves or gloves that can be used in Virtual Reality environments without being a major inconvenience.
