Roger Freeman is the founder of FreeBird Flight , a company that began in April 2016 thanks to initial funding from a Kickstarter campaign. After all this time and having begun delivering the first units, the new FreeBird One , a powerful, durable quadcopter designed for a wide range of professional tasks, is now available to anyone who wants one.
As the press release published by the company responsible for the design and manufacture of the FreeBird One reminds us, this quadcopter has been specially developed to cover a wide spectrum of commercial applications. Among them we can cover from aerial photography work, distribution of goods and even carry out security tasks in case of fire.

FreeBird One, a professional quadcopter capable of competing with the best in the segment.
Going into a little more detail, we find interesting features such as the use of carbon fiber manufactured using a special 3D printer, which gives the drone a final weight of only 3,5 kilograms, while the multirotor has a square shape with dimensions of approximately 790 x 790 mm. Thanks to this design, the FreeBird One is capable of traveling at speeds exceeding 110 km/h or ascending and descending at around 50 km/h.
According to the company, the use of longer-than-usual propellers for this type of model gives the drone greater stability and resistance to strong gusts of wind, which in turn allows the FreeBird One to carry payloads exceeding nine kilograms. As you can see in the images, for safety, the propellers have been fitted with a kind of frame to prevent damage in the event of an accident or collision.
If you're interested in getting a FreeBird One unit, just so you know, the basic price of the equipment is $4.000 , a price that, if you opt for the complete kit, rises to $6.000.
