The University of Burgos has set itself the goal of becoming a leading institution in the field of new technologies, something they consider fundamental and essential for the development of society. With this in mind, the Ubudrone-Talent Cluster program was created , which aims to offer degrees tailored to the needs of our industry and productive sector.
The true aim of the Ubudrone-Talent Cluster project is to prepare future drone pilots for a range of new jobs that increasingly rely on drones. This growing demand has generated considerable excitement in the Ribera del Duero region . In this regard, it's worth noting that a technical workshop was held last Wednesday to discuss the integration of drones into the world of viticulture.
The University of Burgos launches the Ubudrone-Talent Cluster program.
Thanks to this project, the University of Burgos will become the most specialized Spanish university in this market starting in February, thanks to its University Expert Course in Advanced Drone Piloting , endorsed by the Spanish State Aviation Safety Agency (AESA) and holding the status of an official qualification. As a side note, a third of the 60 available places have already been filled. Once you obtain this qualification, a further specialization course consisting of 175 hours will be offered.
According to Raúl del Barrio , executive and academic director of Ubudrone, the University of Burgos is not the only institution that will offer these courses in a few years; it is merely the pioneer. In the short to medium term, the market will begin to demand profiles that do not currently exist. Hence the importance of this type of program, which provides students with up-to-date theory, creates a research group for the design of prototypes suitable for Industry 4.0, and consolidates a multidisciplinary team of partners involved in the project.
