It's been quite a few months since we last talked about Lutti 's 3D printer , a machine modified to manufacture gummies and sweets with shapes and flavors completely customized by the user. If I remember correctly, it was around September when we saw all the features that a prototype like this could offer, at which point the company announced that, at least for a few months, they were going to test it in one of their stores.
After all this time, we've received a new press release from Lutti's marketing department about this 3D candy printer, a model that has recently been updated with some new components. It has since returned to work, being installed in a small shop in Paris where customers were able to verify the machine's proper functioning.
Lutti's candy 3D printer is a resounding success.
The result of this trial, as Lutti describes it, was a resounding success. At certain times of day, customers were willing to wait in line for up to three hours to watch their dream chocolate being 3D printed right before their eyes. As a side note, customers interested in using this machine can create their own designs or simply choose from several pre-set shapes using a simple app.
Due not only to the success achieved since the last update of the machine, but also to other occasions where it has been tested previously, on this last occasion the people in charge of Lutti decided to create a second machine , identical to the original, to make the orders, which can be manufactured in just six minutes at most and can even be ordered through a website that is enabled for each store where it is displayed.
