Novadrone Nomad, a new multidisciplinary drone hits the market

Novadrone Nomad

Today, we have some very interesting news from Seville related to the world of drones: Novadrone 's presentation of a new model called Nomad . This device is essentially a Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) designed to autonomously capture aerial images for both terrain mapping and surveillance.

As you're probably guessing, this new device is a professional aircraft designed for surveying, agriculture, surveillance, and other forestry tasks. To bring this project to fruition, Novadrone spent over two years designing and optimizing resources, ultimately delivering a robust and reliable tool for their clients.

After two years of hard work, Novadrone presents Nomad, a multidisciplinary drone that will surprise you.

Among the materials used to create Nomad, carbon fiber and Kevlar stand out , ideal for creating a device capable of working in all kinds of weather conditions, as well as offering great flight stability, something essential to extract accurate data and take high-resolution georeferenced photographs and much more reliable 2D and 3D maps.

As a side note, this aircraft incorporates a professional electronic control system with a mean time between failures ( MTBF ) of over 49.000 hours. Crucially, all communications and control commands are encrypted using the AES 128/256 protocol , guaranteeing that attacks that could leak data or even steal control of the aircraft are impossible. In addition, it features sonar and several large flaps that act as airbrakes, ensuring much smoother landings.
